Mike and Shari Johnson are, by now, well-seasoned cruisers. They've been on four all together, three in the last two years, and from a variety of ports. Sailing out of New Orleans, Ft Lauderdale, Los Angeles, and Miami they've visited the Western Caribbean and Hawaii. And tghey're not done yet. They've booked the Inside Passage in Alaska for a mid-September cruise.
I asked them, "What is it about cruising that you like so much?"

"The best thing about cruising is everything is already paid for, but if you want to do excursions on the islands you visit you can, but you don't have to if you don't want to. So you can do as little as as much as you want. We like the dining options, we usually get an 8-person table so we get a chance to sit down and talk with others abouth their travels and what cruises and cruise lines they have been on. We have met some wonderful people at dinner. You have something going on all the time, so if you want to keep busy you can, or if you want to just relax and read, you can do that, too. The options are endless. I don't generally like to go and do things by myself, but I felt comfortable enough to do that if my husband didn't want to do something. The food options are great for finicky eaters. We love cruising, getting a chance to see different places and some different cultures."
